| When I was less than 6 years old, we lived in a
rented house, West of Columbus on the Carr Hill Road. I barely
remember the event, but I know my Mother used to tell me that a German
prisoner of war, working in the adjacent field gave me a little white
Spitz-type puppy. She grew up to become Susie and was with us for
a long time.
I'm positive my "Susie" was the daughter of the white
Spitz in the above photo. |
